Factory Direct Homes

When you build a home with 4-U Corporation, you can cut out the middle man, and work directly with the factory that can design and build your own, brand new modular home. The benefits of modular homes are numerous. The comparison between conventional homes and modular homes is one sided. Homes conventionally built on a foundation and not in a factory do not have to fly through the air. Modular homes do. A home needs to be well fortified to do this. We also exceed minimum building specifications because we believe this is the level of quality all homes should be built to, and we refuse to build a low quality home we would not be enthusiastic about owning ourselves.

What are some of the benefits of a modular home?
  • Weather - Homes built in a factory are not exposed to the weather during construction. If your home is conventionally built on a foundation, it will be left open to the elements as it is being built. Inside the factory, your home is protected from poor weather conditions and from the unwanted possibility of theft.
  • Quality - The structural quality of a modular home is, in almost every case, greater than that required of a conventionally built home. There are more frequent and more in depth licensed inspections of your home, and some inspections not required on conventionally built homes are required of homes built in a factory, providing an extra level of quality.
  • Speed - is another amazing benefit of modular homes. Conventionally built homes must be built after lot clearing (if necessary) and foundation building. Modular homes can be built while the foundation is being prepared. As soon as the foundation is completed and inspected, your new home can be set on the foundation. This time savings is substantial, and it will cut down on payments on a construction loan by completing the home sooner.
  • Cost - The purpose of  a factory is to mass produce. A clear benefit of having a repeatable, structured operation making a similar product as compared to the conventional building process, which can take on many different forms, is clear. Factory built homes are more cost efficient than conventionally built homes, and the high quality of homes constructed in our factory is replicated every time.
  • Structure - 4-U Corporation is proud to use roof systems built entirely from conventional lumber. Many modular factories use a truss system for their homes' roofs. These are made of lower quality lumber and eliminate the free space our roof systems provide. The extra space of an attic for storage space is invaluable.

4-U Corporation is a New Jersey Registered New Home Builder. Our factory uses a third-party inspection company, NTA Inc., and we want you to feel confident knowing your home has been certified to standards of a national level. NTA Inc. is federally approved to inspect and review factory built homes, and is accredited by the IAS, a subsidiary of the International Code Council, which is used in all fifty states and the District of Columbia. All homes come complete with a 2-10 Home Buyers Warranty (HBW), separate from homeowner's insurance. You can live worry free, without having to stress about when something will break down or if you'll have the money to fix it. We want you to be as comfortable as possible in your brand new, factory direct modular home!
